Oversight much?

Damn! I just went to RIM's site to get a few precision and realized that I had to open an account with them by the 15th... and we're the 23rd. So I basically missed that window, badly.

Not sure why I never saw that requirement before. Maybe that's because at first I didn't think I'd have time to do something half-decent in the alloted time and didn't bother reading through everything. I guess I also figured the process would be as simple and painless as opening an Android Market account. (From what I've just read, it's not.) Oh well, I'll just take my time now to finish the thing and post it anyway on the Market. Screw RIM, not gonna open an account with them just for the heck of it. My free time is too valuable to waste it on their platform.

Work has started

I finally started building my first real Android app. It's nothing really fancy, just a little game based on a concept that's been used and reused a thousand time. I needed something simple that I could get done in under two weeks with little to no time to put on this project each day. I had bigger plans for my first game but the tought of a free PlayBook simply for submitting an Android app was quite appealing. (Who doesn't like free stuff.)
